It was truly a live time experience, when I was struck by a major heart attack in the middle of the night of 26th Feb 2025. I alerted my wife, and without hesitation, she drove me straight to the Assunta Hospital Emergency ward, as it is the nearest hospital to my house. The emergency's staff team responded to me immediately and did all the necessary procedures to contain the situation first. The cardiologist (Dr. Nicolas Chua) was immediately called in to assess my case in the middle of the night, that's 3:00 AM. I was truly surprised that he can be available at this hour of the day. He assessed my situation and decided to do an emergency angioplasty, the procedures took 2 hours and it went on without any hiccups under his watchful eyes. I spent 3 days in the ICU, 1 day in the HDU and 2 days recovery in the normal ward. During this period in the wards, diligent cares, attentions and understandings were given professionally by the team of nurses in all the wards, even the lady who delivered my meals shown care and concern. Besides the team of nurses, Dr. Nicolas Chua shown care and warm, which one felt these team professionals are truly dependable and trustworthy. Dr. Nicolas Chua and his team saved my life.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to the Cardiology Unit at Assunta Hospital. My mum recently had heart surgery there, and it was a complete success. The entire team was amazing—professional, kind, and incredibly supportive. A special thanks to Dr. Nicholas Chua and his team for their expert care and clear communication. We felt confident and well-looked-after every step of the way. Couldn't recommend them more highly for cardiac care. Thank you for everything!

Dr Nicholas Chua is a wonderful cardiologist. He is also friendly, a good listener and very patient in addressing our queries & concerns before and after the procedure. Excellent bedside manners.
