We had an outstanding pregnancy and delivery experience at Assunta Hospital. Dr. Ragu and Dr. Jaswant were exceptional - they guided us calmly through every visit and made our pregnancy journey natural and stress-free as possible. The delivery suite was fantastic with amazing nursing support. Rebecca was wonderfully calm explaining how to push, and nurses Hafiza, Haryani, Farah, and Lakshana provided incredible help throughout, sorry if i forget some names, there were so many others who helped. They even let us bring our yoga ball and comfort items to make it feel like home. At the end they even helped with creating placenta art tree for us. I would highly highly recommend their lactation program for first-time parents, go and book it in advance yo save a lot of pain and also to have a test run on how to push properly before the big day. The Baby Lavender Suite is calming after the birth, many were nice there the head nurse Paramesa and all the nurses ensured our baby was well cared for. thank you! Dr Sau is amazing taking care for the first 6 months of our baby's needs, for me overall, exceptional experience with skilled doctors, compassionate staff, totally recommend Assunta Hospital to anyone having a baby.

This is my third time being admitted to Assunta Hospital to deliver my baby—and once again, it remains my top choice for maternity care. From my first child to my third (and last!), I’ve always trusted my favourite gynaecologist, Dr. Ragu. He is consistently friendly, kind, and professional. Talking to him feels like chatting with a friend. Thanks to his expert advice and support, I had another smooth and safe delivery. A big thank you as well to the amazing team in the Delivery Suite—especially Rubecca, Dinisha, and Mahdu—for their guidance and support throughout the process. They were truly helpful, attentive, and kind during such an important moment. To the nurses in the Lavender Ward and Nursery, thank you for your care and assistance during my stay. And last but not least, sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Dr. Ragu’s clinic, especially Nurse Lim and Azura. They’ve always been friendly, efficient, and helpful whenever I needed assistance. As for the hospital facilities, I’ve noticed ongoing improvements, which is great. Just a small note—the TV in my room wasn’t working, and the bathroom water heater was under maintenance. Hopefully, these get resolved soon. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the experience at Assunta Hospital and would highly recommend it to anyone planning to deliver or looking for a reliable and caring gynaecologist.

Without his expertise, care, and even his sense of humour, the journey would have been much tougher. I had the privilege of delivering my first baby at Assunta Hospital in Petaling Jaya, where Dr. Ragu served as my attending physician. His professionalism and reassuring demeanor constantly instilled confidence in me. Dr. Ragu took great care to ensure the emotional well-being of expectant mothers. Every maternity check-up involved meticulous scanning, and during the labor process, he provided a reassuring presence, resulting in a smooth delivery in less than four hours. Throughout my stay at the hospital, Dr. Ragu made daily visits to check on both me and my newborn, which my husband and I truly appreciated. The nursing staff at Assunta Hospital also left a lasting impression with their exceptional care. I encountered issues with breastfeeding, and staff members like Vinny Tan and Nurul Faraien provided excellent support and soothing massages. During those challenging nights when my baby cried, leaving me uncertain about how to comfort them, the patience and care demonstrated by staff members Noranisah and Deideree were invaluable. Fauziah, another dedicated nurse, consistently offered valuable suggestions and guidance, which greatly eased my concerns about my baby's well-being. First Pregnanacy 2022 :Delivered a healthy baby boy under care of Dr Ragu. He is so professional and fully support for normal delivery. He will give very detailed explanation whenever you need an answer. Bravo to the delivery suite's midwives for their expertise and gentle procedure. Really salute them is supporting the pregnant women during the delivery process. No regrets in choosing Dr Ragu. Oh ya, I'm a hypnobirthing mother ,and you can always discuss your birthplan with the Dr and midwives. Second Pregnancy 2024: Had a normal delivery under Dr ragu on July 2024. This time he did an ECV (procedure to turn the head down) for me upon my request as i opted for normal delivery. I was so amazed with his professionalism and explanation before and during the procedure. He always listen and answer my question accordingly without over promise. Would recommend Dr ragu to all the mother out there.
