My Dad, Mr Subramanian, is a 94-year-old man who had severe bilateral cataract due to his age. I took him to two medical institutes, but they rejected to perform cataract surgery on him due to age, and past medical & cardiac history. My friend suggested Dr Narendran in BTMC. On the same day back from the med institute, 21.8.2024, I took my father to Dr Narendran outpatient eye clinic @ BTMC. After consultation, my dad's left eye cataract surgery (PHACO) was set for 23.8.2024 due to the urgency of the condition. My dad's cataract surgery was successful and he was thrilled and grateful for his improved vision. Dr Narendran is incredibly professional and took time to explain everything in detail and answered all our questions. My dad genuinely liked the way Dr Narendran communicates to him, as he exudes confidence and humbleness. So, I also highly recommend Dr Narendran's service with confidence! The staff at Dr Narendran's clinic and daycare make every effort to ensure that patients have as little waiting time as possible and schedule appointments promptly. This is uncommon in most medical settings. The nursing staff is also very empathetic, even to my elderly dad. Overall, Dr Narendran's outpatient team, including the porters are incredibly effective, and their timely assistance fosters a friendly environment. Dr Narendran's expertise, the efficient scheduling, and the compassionate care provided by the entire staff clearly made a significant difference in my family's experience. We, as the family, would like to express our gratitude to everyone who provided our dad with exceptional care when he was receiving treatment for a cataract surgery at BTMC. My nephew was admitted to BTMC after sustaining an eye injury from a cat scratch. Initially, we consulted another well-known specialist, but they were unable to provide clear explanations and seemed to rush us towards surgery. Unsure of the best course of action, I suggest my sister that we reach out to Dr. Naren. He immediately asked us to come to BTMC, arriving before us and ensuring his skilled team was prepared. Upon our arrival, he conducted a thorough eye scan and recommended the most appropriate treatment. Once we agreed, the team promptly began preparations. Dr. Narendran is incredibly professional, taking the time to explain everything in detail and answering all of our questions. He is humble, practical, and confident, handling my nephew’s case with great care. The team at Dr. Narendran's clinic demonstrated exceptional compassion throughout the entire process. Both before and after the operation, they were extremely kind, helpful, and genuinely attentive. The service provided by Dr. Narendran and his team was truly commendable. A week ago, by what I consider a fortunate coincidence, we met Dr. Naren at the clubhouse. If we hadn't met him, we wouldn't have known what to do and may have made a risky decision. Please take care of your children—animals can be friendly but also unpredictable at times. It's heartbreaking that my nephew had to go through this, but with Dr. Naren's expertise, we are hopeful for a full recovery.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience in this hospital. She did her cataract surgery with Dr. Narendran( Ophthalmologist) The doctor was just great, taking his time to explain the procedure. He was very friendly and knowledgeable putting my wife at ease to undergo the surgery in both eyes. Zakirah his nurse together with optometrists Afif and Tirtana were kind and helpful in assisting in every possible way they could. The nurses in the day care unit Kalai and Mariati were equally kind and helpful during the pre and post care process. The staff in the billing dept attended to our concern on the charges for the lens with professionalism. As there was a discrepancy between what we were told and what was billed, they assured us that they will check with the relevant personnel and revert. Overall it has been a pleasant experience for both me and my wife. Kudos to Dr Naren and his team.
