A good orthopedic surgeon is not just somene who successfully removes a damaged joint or bone and replaces it with a new part. He/she would ensure the patient, after surgery, regains the use of the affected part. So it is with Dr Putra who performed arthroscopy on my L knee on 5 March 2020. I woke up from surgery and was fitted with a knee brace. The very next day I was taught some physio exercises to strengthen my knee. A day or two later, I was discharged and given a letter to go to the Klinik Kesihatan near my house to get some physiotherapy sessions. At that time, I did not know that Sg Buloh hosp was being converted to 'Covid Hosp'! As Covid cases rose, the MCO was enforced and I was unable to get any physiotherapy. Dr Putra subsequently sent me a link for some knee strengthening exercises which I folowed diligently as I was determined to get well and continue trekking which I had taken up a year ago. Dr. Putra is always friendly and concerned about my progress. He would examine and assess my range of movements during subsequent follow-ups and always motivate me to exercise. This is a sign of a caring doctor who takes pride in his work! Happy that I can now go back to trekking, although wearing a knee brace. So, I would like to thank Dr. Putra for all the encouragement and genuine care he has shown in helping me recover.

During my treatment and counseling sessions with Dr. Putra, there have been many positive developments in my life... The detailed explanations of each injury I experienced were easy to understand... Meniscus, ligaments, and femur fracture were the conditions I faced... What's important is self-motivation to recover successfully and following the advice given is the key to success.

Dr Putra is a very knowledgeable and patient orthopaedic surgeon. Able to identify the root cause of my debilitating elbow injuries and providing unhurried , detailed explanations and an effective solution.His attitude and professionalism are assuring and inspiring patient's confidence. Been to many, and he is the best so far.

I recently was admitted to Beacon Hospital to treat my torn knee ligament I saw Dr Suresh and Dr Putra. Both were so gentle and professional and I felt so confident with their careful diagnosis and management of my case to surgery The nurses were attentive and helpful too And the food ! Wow! It made me feel i m dining at a hotel instead of Hospital Joyce from the F&B department who attended to my needs and recommended dishes i would like. And the dishes were so tasty 😋 I give 5 stars to this Hospital and feels so cosy to be treated here
