My uncle was warded at KPJ Damansara for two months—we were even told by the doctors and staff that he “broke the record” as the longest-staying patient in the KPJ Premier Ward (P12)! With such a long stay, there are truly so many people we would like to thank. From day one, every single member of the team went above and beyond to make his stay as comfortable as possible. It genuinely felt like he was at home, thanks to the exceptional care, warmth, and kindness extended to him throughout these two months. From the ambulance driver and medic on February 13, to the caring medical assistants, food services team, cleaning staff, physiotherapists, and dietitian—each of you played an important role in his recovery journey. And of course, to the wonderful nurses of Premier Suite (P12)—kind, patient, attentive, and always bringing smiles with your warmth and humor—thank you for being so amazing. A very special shoutout to the incredibly dedicated doctors: Dr Shahrudeen (aka Dr Batik) :))) , Prof Dato Dr Harun (aka Dr Smart) :)) , Dato Dr Nik (aka Dr Caring) :)) , and Dr Sangeetha (aka Dr Sweet):)). Your attentiveness, compassion, and regular daily updates gave us so much reassurance and peace of mind during this time. It was my first experience doing an endoscopy. Thank you to Dato' Dr Haron who conducted the procedure and his team for making it an easy-to-swallow experience (pun intended). The whole process from registration, doctor's consultation, pre-, during & post-procedure was quite smooth, Alhamdulillah. One of the nurses even provided with hot Milo and sandwiches to fill my tummy after >12 hours mandatory pre-endoscopy fasting (note: this was during Ramadan but my fast has to be broken due to the nature of endoscopy). Appreciate the gesture despite telling her I could have something to eat at home. Besides that, I alao did a CT scan, with an equally smooth experience. Thanks again to the KPJ gastro dept. for their cordial service & care, especially to Dato' Dr Haron, staff nurses Muhd Hasif & Nurul Nadia who assisted during the procedure, and friendly Fizi.

Both Dato Dr Haron and the nurses at Endo department are very caring and polite. The procedure went smoothly without any issues or delay. Would definitely recommend!!

Their gentle approach and reassuring words really helped ease my nerves.
