Such a good experience with oriental staff esp emergency staff nurse ..very fast & professional handle my son..he's not even crying when do many procedure to make sure he's ok & can go to ward as fast as they can ..staff @ward also friendly and kind with son...Dr long ok..fast response..good treatment & comfortable with the service. My son was recently admitted under the care of Paediatric Specialist Dr. Long Yew Gen due to HFMD. As a mother, this was an incredibly emotional experience it was his very first hospital admission, and naturally, I was overwhelmed with worry. However, Dr. Long’s professionalism, dedication, and personal touch truly made all the difference. Despite it being late at night, he personally inserted my son’s IV line with great care and efficiency. That kind of hands-on approach and attentiveness is rare and deeply appreciated. Under his care, my son recovered remarkably well. The nurses at Ward 3B also deserve special mention. They handled my son with patience, compassion, and true professionalism. Their calm and gentle manner gave me great comfort during a very difficult time. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Miss Juanita from the PR team. She guided me through every step from admission to ensuring that we received the best possible care. Her support made the whole process so much smoother for me and my family. To the Business Office team, thank you for your swift assistance with registration and the GL approval. Your efficiency helped take a huge weight off my shoulders. I had a great experience staying here, as my youngest child was admitted for bronchopneumonia…Excellent treatment from the paediatrician Dr Long, all the staffs and nurses are nice and helpful, we stayed at the premium ward 8, the room was so nice, spacious and equipped with the sofa bed for the caretaker. Thank you Oriental Melaka Medical Centre to bring back the smile of my little sweatheart.
