I’m beyond grateful to have had her as my doctor. During my stay in the maternity ward, it was only me and my husband, without any family around. That’s why the support from the nurses meant even more to us. We had such a wonderful experience with Dr Chua at KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital. This is our third child, and we have experienced two other hospitals in Malaysia before, so we can honestly say this experience was on another level altogether. From the very first conversation, both my wife and I felt comfortable, calm, and reassured by Dr Chua’s gentle and caring personality. She is incredibly kind, informative, soft-spoken, and professional. The way she handled the entire birth process was so smooth and organized that my wife felt safe and relaxed throughout the journey. What touched us even more was how warmly she welcomed our second child during our visits. Dr Chua created such a beautiful bond with our daughter that she always wanted to accompany us for every baby checkup. That warmth and kindness are rare to find. The hospital itself feels like a 5-star hotel, but what impressed me the most was the level of care from the nurses and staff. Every single nurse was caring, attentive, respectful, and always smiling. I was going in and out frequently, asking many questions, and they always tried their very best to assist me patiently and sincerely. Compared to our previous experiences in other hospitals, the difference here was very clear. The professionalism, hospitality, and genuine human care at KPJ Sentosa truly stand out. You can immediately feel the positive environment from the moment you walk in. Honestly, there is so much more to write, but words are not enough to describe how satisfied and grateful we are. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a caring doctor and a hospital that truly values patients and families. You must see the smiles on their faces to understand the difference they make.

For my second pregnancy, I changed doctors three times before finally deciding to stay with Dr. Arlies at KPJ Sentosa. She is very professional, patient, and gentle. Throughout my pregnancy, she took the time to explain medical information and share valuable knowledge with me. During every check-up, she was thorough and attentive, making sure everything was progressing well. During labor, she continuously encouraged and supported me, which helped me achieve a successful natural delivery. I only experienced a minor tear, and the stitches caused almost no discomfort during recovery. I was able to get out of bed and walk around comfortably the next day. I would also like to thank Dr. Mohd Yani Bahari, the anesthesiologist who administered my epidural. The epidural provided excellent pain relief while still allowing me to feel some contractions. Most importantly, I was able to distinguish between holding my breath and pushing, and I could clearly feel myself pushing downward effectively. As a result, my labor progressed much faster and more smoothly. I would also like to thank the nursing team for their professionalism, kindness, and attentive care. Choosing Dr. Arlies was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. Together with Dr. Mohd Yani Bahari, they made my pregnancy, delivery, and recovery experience smooth, positive, and memorable. I am truly grateful for their exceptional care and would highly recommend them to any expectant mother.

A kudos to Dr. Arlies Chua, the Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist from KPJ Sentosa KL Specialist Hospital. Dr. Arlies came highly recommended by many of my friends, and personally, I believe in choosing the doctor rather than just the hospital. As first-time parents, unfortunately, we experienced a miscarriage during the first trimester before the baby had a heartbeat. It was an emotionally difficult journey for both of us, me and my wife. I was probably the husband asking more questions than my wife, especially knowing she was emotionally affected. Dr. Arlies was extremely patient, professional, and informative in answering every question I had, while also taking the initiative to explain things in greater detail for us. Most importantly, she was very thoughtful and compassionate throughout the process. Her reassurance and positive energy truly helped calm my wife and gave us emotional strength during the miscarriage journey. Had a normal delivery under Dr Arlies Chua and the assistance of midwives (Norashidah, Fatin, Rayhan, Nik and Flora). The first to final check up with Dr Arlies went well as she answered all my queries clearly. As a First time mom, I have so many concerns to have my delivery journey smooth. With the gynae expertise, I had a very good experience giving birth here. The aim not to experience trauma after giving birth was achieved! Dr Arlies went all beyond her job scope by soothing and reassuring my journey here in KPJ Sentosa KL. She was excellent in decision making. Her selfless attribute & empathy made her outstanding in her career. I totally recommend her to deliver your baby! My child was under the care of Dr Aida who were another example of amazing Dr in this hospital. She explained everything clearly and all the information based on research. It’s very important to have mutual understanding between parents and the paedtrician. I would also like to thank Dr Yani who were in charge with the epidural procedure. He was very calm and I barely remember the pain while he did the process. The anesthesia worked well too! The cost was affordable for a private hospital in KL. They have a good delivery package to consider. Unlike other private hospitals, they don’t have minimum checkup if you want to deliver here. Overall, I had a memorable experience with this hospital. This is a boutique hospital with world class service. Well done KPJ Sentosa KL. You have trained your staff very well.
