My father recently suffered an acute stroke and was initially admitted to another hospital in another state. As his symptoms did not show much improvement, we sought a second opinion at Pantai Hospital Penang, where he was seen by Dr. Wong Yee Choon and later referred to Dr. Ng Yin Ping. Dr. Wong provided exceptional care from the outset. He patiently reviewed my father’s CT and MRI findings, explained the possible causes, and outlined the expected course of recovery and rehabilitation. His clear and comprehensive explanations gave our family confidence and reassurance during a very difficult time. Her guidance has greatly improved his mood and outlook, allowing him to face recovery with much more positivity. We are deeply grateful to both Dr. Wong and Dr. Ng for their expertise, professionalism, and kind approach. Their combined care has made a tremendous difference in my father’s recovery journey, and we would highly recommend them to anyone seeking neurological and psychological support after a major illness.

My FIL had stroke (with kidney and heart complications) and Pantai Hospital helped in our emergency. Initially went to Kek Lok Si Hospital, however they don't have heart specialist and referred us to Penang GH. Service in GH was bad. Admitted after 4 hrs wait, no testing done and the drip bottle was dried and not refilled. Moved to Pantai after consultation with other friends. At Pantai, immediate attention given and test done immediately.. Stayed in the ward for 2 weeks before discharge. Thanks to Dr Wong and team.
