We had a wonderful experience at the hospital during the birth of our baby, and we’re truly grateful for the care and support we received throughout. Datuk Dr Niraj took the time to explain everything clearly, always making us feel comfortable and confident. The delivery suite staff were exceptional professional, calm, and incredibly reassuring during such an important and emotional time. They guided us every step of the way, making sure both mum and baby were safe and comfortable. Their kindness and confidence really made a difference. The stay at Lavender Ward was equally pleasant. The ward was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable environment for recovery. The nurses were attentive, patient, and always ready to help, ensuring that we felt supported at all times. Not to forget the nursery team as well. They took great care of our newborn, handling everything with such gentleness and expertise. It gave us peace of mind knowing our baby was in such good hands, especially as first-time parents. Overall, we’re extremely satisfied with the level of service and care provided. I decided to deliver in Assunta Hospital with recommendations from my friends with good experiences here. During my pregnancy, I was consulting with Datuk Dr Niraj who is an excellent doctor. He is really calm and clear in explaining things to me and my husband. He always gives his expert opinion and options for use to decide and have control - Never once we were forced to decide anything that we are uncomfortable with. He goes an extra mile for us too to save cost as much as he can, which is really thoughtful. His team at Delivery Suite are excellent as well. They are always encouraging and friendly. I spent 2 nights there, getting all the help I need. I never got their names, but I am truly grateful for the team who looked after me during my admission there! I ended up with caesarian section procedure to safely deliver my baby. While it feels scary and daunting as my first surgical experience, the OT team is really professional and calm to guide me through the process. I felt super assured in their hands. My anesthetic doctor, Dr Kum is very skillful in administrating spinal injection for me. The OT team are friendly while experienced in doing their work. After my procedures, I'm placed at the Lavender Ward with my baby at the nursery. I must applause the nurses in Assunta - they are consistently good regardless where they are stationed. I got a similar comfortable treatment from the nurses at Lavender Ward and the Nursery too. They are friendly and helpful if I have any questions. They even helped me out in nursing my baby for the first few times. This really makes my breastfeeding experience a positive one despite me still struggling and getting used to it. I would definitely highly recommend Assunta Hospital and the skillful teams here if you're looking for a hospital for labour and delivery. The hospital may look older than the other hospitals, but the facilities are maintained very well while retaining pieces of its long and meaningful history. Thank you so much for making my pregnancy, delivery and nursing journey to be such a pleasant experience!

Alhamdulillah, I had a wonderful experience throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I gave birth under the care of Dato Dr Niraj, and everything went smoothly from my regular check-ups until the birth of my baby girl. He was very kind, patient, and helpful, which made me feel calm and reassured. I would also like to thank Dr Syed (Paediatrician) for the great care given to my baby. A special appreciation to Nurse Low Min, who patiently guided and taught me breastfeeding. Her support meant a lot. Highly recommended!
