My father and I from Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia underwent a check-up, consultation, and therapy at Beacon Hospital in mid-June 2019. I personally had a general check-up, including an endoscopy, handled by Dr. Chong. In the imaging department, the X-ray, abdominal ultrasound, and head and neck MRI were handled by Dr. Ho. I also consulted with several specialists at Beacon Hospital, including: ENT Specialist Dr. Raymond, Eye Specialist Dr. Ong, Oncology Specialist Dato' Dr. Ibrahim, Neurology Specialist Dr. Hoo, and Diabetes Specialist Dato' Dr. Anuar. My father, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer, underwent 12 sessions of radiotherapy at Beacon Hospital using the latest radiotherapy equipment, the Varian Halcyon. The specialists who treated my father were Oncology Specialist Dato' Dr. Ibrahim and Urology Specialist Dr. Siva. The examinations and therapies at Beacon Hospital utilized the latest equipment and machines, including MRI, PET Scan, and radiotherapy. The waiting rooms for patients consulting with specialists were very comfortable, clean, and tidy, with coffee, tea, and cookies provided in each waiting area. We received excellent and friendly service from the doctors, nurses, registration staff, cashier department, Ibu Adah, Ibu Meilka, and even the security guards at Beacon Hospital. We express our sincere gratitude to Beacon Hospital and its entire team for the services provided during our check-up, consultation, and therapy.

Thank you to Dr. Bong Jan Jin, a very responsible and meticulous doctor (who tirelessly visits his hospitalized patients even on holidays), and his nurse Olivia Ling, as well as Dr. Leong Kok Weng (a super experienced anesthesiologist). On 2/9/2022, they successfully helped my husband undergo a pancreatic and spleen resection surgery (a highly complex surgical procedure). This surgery was extremely difficult because my husband had been injured during a previous surgery by another doctor. Fortunately, with Dr. Bong's experience and assistance, the surgery was completed successfully. 🙏 Three years ago, after a surgery at a public hospital, my husband was so traumatized that he gave up on treatment a second time. The surgery lasted 13 hours, and his wound became inflamed and wouldn't heal. He was even injured internally during that surgery. 😭 Fortunately, during this recent surgery, Dr. Bong helped him resolve all issues, including addressing his previously unresolved wound. This major surgery was completed in about 4 hours. His recovery was also rapid; he was able to eat on the second day. My husband himself said that the previous surgery and this one were vastly different because it wasn't as painful as the last time. We are so grateful to have met Dr. Bong, a doctor with such a positive attitude and excellent medical skills. 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹 He is a doctor worth recommending. I am grateful for the medical care and equipment at this hospital. We are grateful to Dr. Dato Dr. Ibrahim, Dato Dr. Anuar, and other doctors and staff who were very kind and arranged everything for us, making us feel very secure at this hospital. Joyce Ku meticulously prepared nutritious meals for patients, helping my husband's appetite and wound recover quickly. 🌹 (My husband was already very thin before the surgery, and even more so afterward, but Joyce sent him essence of chicken daily to help him recover.) Since he couldn't eat solid food, Joyce carefully cut it into small pieces for him. Terima kasih to the pharmacist who prepared the patient's medication (Syafiqah and all staff). Thank you to Dato Ibrahim and the nurses for facilitating all the medication transfer arrangements to Perak for the patient. 🙏🥳👍 Today, 15-8-25 (it's been about 5 years since my husband and I came to Baokang). I met Angie Ng sister around that time. Today, my husband is hospitalized at Baokang for treatment, and it's my birthday. Angie sister brings me food every morning. This morning, she even brought a birthday cake 🎂 and KFC for my husband and me to celebrate our birthday in the hospital 🎂. Thank you for this love; it's wonderful to have you. She also comes every morning to give my husband positive energy and full confidence for his treatment. The hospital and patients are so fortunate to have you. 🥰

hello ,im introduce myself as a daughter of my father who got rectum cancer stage 4 .First time im heard my father got this cancer our family felt so sad and i try to survey which hospital can treat my father with the best cure and im so suprise after know that baecon hospital can treat my father without need surgery ,we just go chemotherapy like normal patient and after 6month they test my father using pet scan Mri and the result was the cancer already clear ,me and my family we felt so happy and grateful to Allah and Dato ibrahim as he lead this process.Even my father at stage 4 ,at age 67 he still can fight this cancer and follow all the chemotherapy ,just want to add the chemo just daycare so patient dont need to stay a long in hospital,alhmdulillah,i hope and pray my father stay healthy ,for those got cancer beacon is the best hospital to cure.Thanks Dr Dato Ibrahim and team!

I have been accompanying my cancer stricken (bone mathestheses) wife for her montly treatment protocol since early March 2019. She couldnt walk and was almost bedridden then when i started the treatment in Beacon. Today miraculously she keeps going for the treatment on her own without my assistance after her treatment at Beacon Hospital. I wish to sincerely express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Beacon Hospital and i wish to sincerely commend Beacon Hospital, the Slecialists/Doctors (Oncologists) Dato' Dr.Ibrahim, the tireless Nurses (Malinder, Agila, Saradha and all other staffs for their excellent service and who made it possible for my wife to be comfortably on her feet again and resume her normal everyday life. I also wish to thank the staffs of the Billing Department especially Ms.Suganthi, Ms.Megala and the Pharmacy staff who were ever ready always and extremely helpful to us and not forgetting Ms.Wong, Ms.Margaret who was so kind and helpful too and all other staffs whom i have missed out their names I will not hesitate to recommend everyone out there looking for medical and specialist treatment please have Beacon Hospital in mind for the excellent, treatment facilities, service & hospitality. I’m writing on behalf of my sister in law who has passed on recently. She has been a patient at Beacon Hospital since 2015 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctors who had treated her were Dato Dr Mohamed Ibrahim, Dr. Lum and Dr Lee Foo Chiang who did surgery on her brain, Dr Tho was her oncologist till her passing. Thanks to the advance and up to date cancer treatment at Beacon Hospital. And lastly Dr Goh who treated her when she complained of epilepsy symptoms and fluid in her lungs. They have been very helpful to her and provided her with the best treatment available. She is especially happy with the food at the canteen and always tells me that it’s safe, healthy and flavourful, and she was very happy when her follow-up appointments coincides with lunch time, she would have very good appetite. When she was admitted to the hospital last month and was drained of all her energy because of the strong antibiotics, she told me she wanted to eat more fish/protein to build back her immune system, and told Nany, the head of F&B, that she wanted more fish in her porridge and was very happy that her request was met.
