I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gan Eng Hui, who cared for my mum during her procedure. He is an incredibly caring and patient doctor who takes the time to truly listen. Frankly, my mum is a quite fussy old lady and needed a lot of reassurance before proceeding, and I truly appreciated his patience in answering all her questions without ever making her feel rushed. My mum’s cataract surgery was very successful, and her recovery has been smooth and reassuring. We are also very grateful that the procedure has helped improve her glaucoma condition, which was a huge relief for our family. A special thank you to the entire team, especially the anaesthetist, who thoughtfully suggested using a sedative instead of full general anaesthesia, which could have posed greater risks for my mum. This decision, along with the reassurance provided, helped her stay calm and comfortable throughout the procedure.
