I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Gan Eng Hui, who cared for my mum during her procedure. He is an incredibly caring and patient doctor who takes the time to truly listen. Frankly, my mum is a quite fussy old lady and needed a lot of reassurance before proceeding, and I truly appreciated his patience in answering all her questions without ever making her feel rushed. My mum’s cataract surgery was very successful, and her recovery has been smooth and reassuring. We are also very grateful that the procedure has helped improve her glaucoma condition, which was a huge relief for our family. A special thank you to the entire team, especially the anaesthetist, who thoughtfully suggested using a sedative instead of full general anaesthesia, which could have posed greater risks for my mum. This decision, along with the reassurance provided, helped her stay calm and comfortable throughout the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Gan and his team for their professionalism, compassion, and excellent care.

I would say ISEC is an eyes centre which is well equipped with advanced technology and professional drs and nurses . My father has IOL dislocation which is an urgent condition that need immediate attention. The whole crew is helpful and we able to get appointment on the same day . We are happy we get to see Dr Gan Eng Hui who is caring and attentive Dr . He diagnosed the problem correctly and at first Dr advise to have active surveillance and close monitoring first ( as the IOL displacement is mild). However , the next day , the eye started to get blurry again. Again the crew help us to arrange the appointment on the next day. As the IOL was displaced more further , and it need surgery . The surgery was arranged on the next day immediately (luckily we dun have to preorder the lens) . Dr Ho Whye Onn who performed the surgery is a great Dr who has amazing skill . The surgery was completed smoothly . Not forgetting the anesthesiologist, Dr Cheah May Hong. She is a good and caring Dr . She explained what is obstructive sleep apnea to my father and advice him to see ENT . The nurses also explain the post op instructions in details👍👍👍

Dr. Gan Eng Hui -- a highly regarded and well respected eye specialist - My mother is Dr Gan's cataract patient. We are truly impressed with his dedication to his patient and his expertise. Unlike other physicians that we've seen in other eye specialist centers who often rush to interrupt patients in about few seconds, he is a good listener and a good advisor, he has been willing to go the extra mile to understand his patient's concerns and explain a diagnosis. He will tell you what went wrong and the dos and don'ts patiently. To us, he is indeed knowledgeable, helpful and skillful. 6 months passed after the surgery, my mother's eyesight is clear and problem free. So far, our questions are answered satisfactorily every time we visit Doctor Gan. A good doctor like Dr. Gan makes patient feels cared for.
