I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Sister Cheah, specialist nurse in wound management at Gleneagles Hospital Penang, for her remarkable dedication and care in supporting my grandmother throughout his long journey of healing. Her relentless efforts and commitment have made an incredible difference in his recovery from leg ulcers, including the difficult challenges of a gangrenous foot wound and pressure sores on both feet. Beyond routine care, Sister Cheah went above and beyond by performing careful bedside wound cleaning, precise debridement, customised pressure sore padding and support and even coordinating with various specialists (especially Dato Dr.Mohana Rao) by sending detailed wound progress photos for comprehensive management. Thanks to her expertise and persistence, all the ulcers that were treatable have now fully healed; a milestone we once thought was far out of reach.
