I was referred to Dr. Wong Jun Shyan by Dr, Mazlan from Kluang Private Eye Clinic for my Wet AMD.(Age Related Macular Degeneration) I started my treatment when he was in the old clinic until now he is in the new clinic. I still go there for my yearly check up. Need appointments and must be prepared for long waiting time. Too many patients.

Thank you for the master-craftsmanship of Dr Wong Jun Shyan and his team for my life-changing but pleasant experience. To me, speed and precision on this type of corrective eye surgery are keys to mitigate the unnecessary patient’s anxiety during the actual surgery procedure, and with Dr Wong’s precise but comprehensive consultation help much to smoothen the whole processes for this common surgery of recent years. I am glad that I took the plunge for this important life decision of mine. Thank you again, Dr Wong!

I was diagnosed with left eye retinal detachment and here's the early signs; (flashlight, more floaters, blurry vision, dark shadow). I'm still undergoing full recovery and a post treatment patient. My two cents on the doctors and services; Firstly, i consulted Dr Chan Jan Bond after reading all the good reviews via Google and no doubt he's a friendly doctor that gives good explanation on my condition. However, due to the complication of my retinal detachment, he is unable to decide on the exact procedure and thus handed me over to Dr Wong Jun Shyan. Dr Wong is a man of few words. Hence some patients will think he's cold, unfriendly. In my opinion, Dr Wong is the surgeon you needed to get the job done! He's very precise, skillful, decisive and knows exactly how and what to do when he looks at ur condition. I had an ASAP surgery +laser just after consultation and the post recovery with minimal eye pain. In addition, i had to applaud Dr Wong for his adhoc decision in one of my post surgery visit; laser photocoagulation (to further strengthen the retinal reattachment). As i mentioned earlier, Dr Wong knows exactly what needed to be done when he examine your eye. Conclusion: Depending on your eye condition. If you needed a doctor that comforts you and gives you thorough explanation, Dr Chan is a good fit (but i believe there are other good docs; refer to the pic for specific eye condition). But if you already been diagnosed and needed to get procedure done, pls consult Dr. Wong ( skillful , experience eye surgeon).

You’ll never know how valuable something is until you have lost it, or almost lose it. I first had giant retina tear with detachment in 2018 and a year later in 2019, another retina detachment happened to the fellow eye. Dr Ho Whye Onn was recommended to attend to me in the absence of my attending specialist. Dr. Ho Whye Onn’s pleasant bedside manner & assuring approach gave me much confidence to proceed with the procedure without any delay. For a person with white coat syndrome :) this is so important. Throughout the surgery, both Dr Ho & anaesthetist Dr. Cheah May Hong worked together to keep me calm, comfortable & warm as well. Words cannot describe the “safe feeling” of having your doctor reassuring that the surgery was going well and you were doing great. Dr Ho gave me that “safe feeling”. And Dr Cheah held my hand to keep me warm & to give comfort that she was nearby. Both my detached retina were saved in time, thanks to the doctors in ISEC; first episode was by the decisive Dr. Wong Jun Shyan, and the 2nd episode by Dr. Ho Whye Onn ( photo below ) And I only have good words for ISEC for their professionalism & well-organised facility.
