Dr. Ooi Ee Thiam is a highly experienced Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist at Sunway Medical Centre. He has over 20 years of experience in Medical Gastroenterology, specializing in Hepatology. He holds an MBBS from the University of Malaya and an MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians in the UK. He completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the Ministry of Health Malaysia. He is skilled in procedures such as Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). He was also the Head of the Gastroenterology Unit at Kuala Lumpur General Hospital from 2013-2014. Dr. Ooi is known for being multilingual, proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Hokkien, and Mandarin.
