I gave birth here while my husband was on an overseas assignment. As it was my first childbirth and overseas, I had many anxieties. However, the Japanese medical interpreter (Ayako-san) was very reassuring with her polite and knowledgeable approach. During Dr. Woo's prenatal check-ups, there was a 3D ultrasound, and seeing the fetus's face each month was a joy. Being my first pregnancy and childbirth, I had many concerns, but Dr. Woo was a kind doctor who seemed to alleviate those anxieties. During labor, when I was flustered due to communication difficulties with the midwifery staff, Dr. Woo and the interpreter came despite the late hour to provide support, and I was able to deliver safely afterward. I am truly grateful. From the onset of labor to delivery, I was able to stay in the same room (delivery room), which was convenient without any transfers. After delivery, I moved to the ward. The room was clean, the meals were delicious, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. During my hospital stay, the nurses and midwives provided thorough support with breastfeeding and other aspects. I am truly glad that I was able to give birth at this hospital.

[I gave birth!] I gave birth at this hospital in July. Dr. Woo took care of me, always providing precise and straightforward consultations. Whenever I had concerns, he would reassuringly say, "It's okay, it's okay," to the point where it almost made me more anxious? (lol) His calm demeanor allowed me to approach my delivery date with peace of mind. It was a planned epidural birth, and it was truly completely painless. The anesthesiologist was also skilled, and just as Dr. Woo predicted, I delivered with one push at the scheduled time. It was a very easy delivery. The pediatrician was also kind and a good doctor. During every consultation, interpreter Ayako-san accompanied me, which was very reassuring. She also checked on me during my postpartum hospital stay and acted as an interpreter during my one-week postpartum check-up, for which I am grateful. When Ayako-san was unavailable, Hiroko-san also took care of me. *While prenatal check-ups are largely the same as in Japan, they were scheduled every four weeks even in the later stages of pregnancy. Dr. Woo's practice is cash-only. Also, from immediately after birth, breastfeeding is encouraged, so it's not a time for extensive rest.

I am an expatriate from a Japanese company working locally. My wife and I have been greatly assisted by this hospital for various reasons, including health check-ups, dental treatment, emergency hospitalization due to food poisoning symptoms, and fertility treatments and prenatal check-ups. The hospital is conveniently located within Kuala Lumpur, making it easily accessible from our home. Furthermore, having two Japanese staff members (※) working full-time, who assist with appointment scheduling and provide interpretation support during consultations, is always a great help. (※Ayako-san, Hiroko-san) In the gynecology department, we have been under the care of Dr. Woo and Dr. Ravi. All the hospital staff, including the doctors, are always very kind and supportive, making this a highly trustworthy hospital.
