First time admitted here. Previously, my children were under Dr. Masri and Dr. Shalini. This time, it was the mother's turn to fall ill due to a slipped disc and back pain issues 😅. Admitted for an RFA procedure under Dato Dr. Azmin Kass Rosman. As soon as the anesthesia wore off, I felt strange, eh, where did the pain go? I only felt tightness in my muscles. It was truly superb, Alhamdulillah. Kudos also to Datin Dr. Vanitha, who was very attentive and noticed my worries and nervousness during the briefing and consent signing, even though I've undergone three abdominal surgeries before. She was so reassuring 🥹 "Don't worry my dear, I will not leave you and will take care of you all the time during the procedure ok?" Huhu. Kudos also to the OT team who offered me to choose what music I wanted to listen to. Oh, that's possible. My initial thought was to listen to "Jodoh Lebaran," but I might start dancing, so I chose "Bohemian Rhapsody" before drifting off to dreamland 😅🤌🏻. Just wanted to give constructive feedback to the foodservice team. If possible, please don't use frozen Dory for the Grilled fish menu, especially the Grilled Teriyaki Fish. The appearance wasn't like grilled, it looked like steamed soy dory fish 😭 and it was very fishy. Please use Saba mackerel fillet. Dory has high glazing, and sometimes even after thawing, it still has a lot of water content. If you put it in a combi oven, it will end up watery instead of grilled 😂🤌🏻. I wanted grilled fish because I'm on a diet, huhu. But the Western menu was okay, delicious. Sorry if I'm a bit critical, it's because I also manage dietetics and foodservice in a hospital. Overall, kudos to the team and thank you for the care and hard work!

I went for RFA surgery at DHS2 last week under Dato Dr Azmin, Dr Neo and Datin Dr Vanitha. I had such a wonderful experience compared to my surgery done 2 years back in 1 of the private hospital. During the first surgery no sedation was given, it was done under local anesthesia. The pain I went through during the surgery was a nightmare. My current experience was superb. Both doctor and Anesthesiologist gave me full briefing about the procedure end to end. Overall I feel very happy with the surgery done to me since I have been having this pain for the past 18 years trying so many medication to solve this. I would like to express my gratitude to the OT team, CNO, Night Supervisor and nurses at Executive Suite for your. good work. Thank you again for your good work and keep it up...

I had a wonderful experience delivering my second baby at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 under the care of Prof Dr Imelda. My firstborn was also delivered in KPJ Damansara 1 with the same doctor, and just like before, she was professional, compassionate, and ensured I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. Our baby was born on Malaysia Day (16.9.2024), which made the experience even more special! The KPJ team surprised us with not one, but two lovely diaper hampers, and we had a group photo post delivery. Datin Dr Vanitha, the anesthetist, was highly professional and made me feel completely at ease. Dr Masri, the paediatrician, was also very careful and thorough with my baby’s care, giving me great peace of mind. The nurses were incredibly supportive and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. One of our favorite parts was the baby book they gave us. Along with all the baby’s information, they included an instant Polaroid photo, baby’s footprint, and put everything into a keepsake book. It was such a thoughtful touch! The food was also good, which made my stay even more comfortable. Maternity Experience with KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital (DSH) 2 On 2am of 14th July (Sunday), wife have water broke and was sent to emergency department at morning 4am, in such early timing, our Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist attend to hospital to check on the condition. Besides, Datin Dr. Vanitha attended for epidural process as well, a very detailed and professional explanation by Datin on the process and risk of having such process. By Noon 2pm, baby is safely delivered and got assessed by Prof. Rashdan Zaki. A big shout out to the fellows Doctors, every nurses, assistant from level 4 L&D department, L4 Obstetrics Ward Room as well as Paediatric Department. Dato' Dr Rohan Malek -Consultant Urologist and Renal Transplant Surgeon. My father was admitted to this hospital for a radical cystectomy for bladder cancer under the care of Dato Dr Rohan Malek on March 1st 2024. Dato Dr Rohan is a very experienced urologist who's performed many successful cystectomy. My father is considered high risk, given his age of 78, and also have other comorbidities. Under the care of Dato Dr Rohan and his team of doctors, my father had a successful surgery and was discharged from KPJ Damansara 2 weeks later. Dato Dr Rohan is also a very compassionate and caring doctor, he personally came to change my dad's dressing everyday while he's warded. During my dad's first consultation, he was very detailed in explaining the risks and gave us hope and confidence that the complex surgery can be done, while other doctors whom we've consulted threw in a lot of worry and doubt over my dad's case. He is confident and assured us that all will be well. He checks in on us even till today, almost 1 1/2 wk after discharge as we are based in Perak. All in all, we cannot thank Dato Dr Rohan, Kak Fahizah and his team of doctors, Dr Vanitha Sivanaser (Anaesthetist), Dr Mohd Daud Sulaiman (Cardiologist), Dr Surayne Segaran, Dr Nur Faradisha and Dr Wan Hazlina and last but not least the nurses, physiotherapist, and care workers enough for their dedicated expertise and care for my father during this difficult time. We also highly recommend this hospital as it's new and clean and well maintained.
