I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Columbia Asia Bukit Jalil Hospital for the exceptional care I received during my recent emergency admission. From the surgeons to the anaesthetist, nurses, and Personal Care Assistants, every individual played a meaningful role in my recovery. Dr. Maathichsudhaar, the general surgeon, truly saved my life. He was already outside the CT scan room reviewing my results before I was even wheeled out. Without alarming me, he calmly explained the situation and gently convinced me to proceed with surgery immediately. I didn’t realize how serious my condition was, only after the surgery did I understand a ruptured appendix with fluid leakage is life-threatening. Dr. Maathi recognised the urgency, prioritised my case over a scheduled surgery, and acted fast. Mid-surgery, he discovered a twisted ovary that required urgent attention. Without hesitation, he called in a gynaecologist to assist, demonstrating his dedication to addressing all emergency conditions at once. I truly feel fortunate to have had a surgeon so attentive, proactive, ethical, and genuinely concerned for his patient’s well-being. Dr. Kartik, the gynaecologist, joined the surgery on short notice and met me the next day to explain everything thoroughly. He took the time to understand my menstrual history, and reassured me that no further surgery was needed at this point, carefully weighing the long-term effects over rushing into procedures. He even tried to find an alternative medication that wouldn't strain my finances, and thoughtfully coordinated with nurses to align his follow-up timing with Dr. Maathi's, to ease the process for me. Later, I found out he had rushed over from another branch to assist with my case. That gesture meant a lot. I also want to thank Dr. Nagappan, the anaesthetist, for his calm explanation and care during the procedure. Last but not least, all the friendly Personal Care Assistants and Nurses, who showed warmth, patience, and care at every step of my recovery. 💛 I’m truly grateful to have been cared for by such a competent and compassionate medical team.

I brought my son to Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil on Tuesday, March 19th, due to an abscess. After initial outpatient treatment in the morning, he was admitted on the same day for a right proximal medial thigh abscess. The process was swift, from obtaining the GL from AIA insurance to him entering the operating theater at 5 pm. Dr. Zamri, the Consultant overseeing his treatment, explained all procedures and kept my son calm throughout, particularly during dressing changes. Dr. Nagappan, the anesthesia consultant, provided thorough options for my son. The entire surgical process, from pre-operation to post-operation, was excellent. I'm grateful to the attentive staff who looked after my son during his 4-day, 3-night stay. The facilities are in excellent condition and impeccably clean, as they are being newly launched. The in-patient meals were satisfactory; my son enjoyed them. I hope Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil continues to uphold its exceptional service and standards in the present and future. I recently had ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus Repair Surgery and am grateful for the excellent care I received. A big thank you to Dr. Murugeaswaran (Orthopedic Surgeon) for his expertise and to Dr. Nagappan (Anesthesiologist) for ensuring a smooth procedure. I also appreciate Ms. Norhazmi and Mr. Ravikumar (Physiotherapists) for their guidance in my recovery. Lastly, my heartfelt thanks to all the Level 5 ward nurses for their kindness and assistance during my stay.

Excellent guidance and assistance from Ms Sobeni (Physio) she have been given me lot of good advices on the recovery and shout out to Mr Amirul (Physio) as well for all of his assistance and guidance through out my ACL recovery at week 7 and I’m truly blessed with the service offered by everyone from the Physio Team. The best service given by the staff nurse during my admission and to the F&B team which prepare such a wonderful balance nutrition food for me through out the stay. Mainly thank you to Dr Muru (Orthopaedic) with a smooth and wonderful ACL surgery that I have went through, you are the best.
