First, I would like to start off with what I like about this Beacon Hospital: Their staff ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Doctor & consultation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Most of them were very nice and friendly. Felt comfortable interacting with them. But one thing I noticed was that some of them were not wearing uniform, and some wore sandals. Was it because it was a public holiday so they were flexible with their work dress code? So it was confusing when someone wearing normal clothing approached me and it turned out to be the staff. Some wore lanyard that we can identify them, some don’t. Unfortunately this is one of the parts that I may find confusing. As I am used to other hospital that wore proper attire and it was so easy to recognize the staff working there. Workflow: ⭐️⭐️ Could be better. Our experience having our yearly health screening here, for the first time was… well, could have been better. The Queue system, and the registration process was good. Smooth and service by the staff was great. Moving on to the blood taking, and vital checks all great. The nurse that took my blood was very skilled and I did not feel any pain. So another 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the nurse at the blood taking station. However, everything went downhill from there. The Imaging Test: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were escorted by Susan to the Ground Floor. Only 2 changing rooms, and the 6 of us, have to take turns. Changing room was too small and the design was not suitable. For the ultrasound tests, the waiting time was about 2 hours plus. And I had to hold my bladder for the entire time. All because we needed to keep our bladder full for the ultrasound. It wasn’t clear how long we had to wait, but this would be my first time waiting for that long. From 9am to 11am plus. I could hear the others waiting also was complaining why it took too long. We were told that only 2 stations to accommodate all of us. Was it overbooked? Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ No complaints about the food, we were happy to have a good meal after fasting from night until noon. We had chicken rice. Quite unexpected but acceptable choice. Facility: ⭐️⭐️ The toilet wasn’t in that good condition. Broken flush, and chipped door. No bag holder in the cubicle. And the overall feel of the building. The building is currently being renovated so hopefully they will improve the outlook and interior of the hospital. Doctor: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our doctor, Dr. Tan, was pleasant and we had a good consultation with her. Parking: ⭐️⭐️ A parking lot opposite of the hospital, uncovered.

Went over for a health screening, where transition from intake to report delivery was pretty good. The staffs were helpful and always looking out for clients when in need, and the clinicians explaining the bloodwork were also efficient and detailed (Dr Tan?) Breakfast was provided for patients after blood testing, strongly recommended for those who want to have a no hassle Health screening. Report was ready by 11.30am if you go earlier at 7am got registration.

My dad had the privilege of seeing Dr. Tan Li Ping, a kidney specialist, and I was extremely impressed with his expertise and professionalism. From the moment we entered his office, we felt confident that my dad was in good hands. Dr. Tan took the time to listen to my dad's concerns, conducted a thorough examination, and explained his condition in a way that was easy to understand. Dr. Tan's knowledge and experience in the field of nephrology are impressive, and he demonstrated a deep understanding of my dad's specific condition. He recommended a treatment plan that was personalized to my dad's needs and preferences, and he made sure both my dad and I understood the potential risks and benefits of each option. Throughout the course of my dad's treatment, Dr. Tan was always available to answer our questions and address our concerns. He is kind, compassionate, and truly cares about his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Tan Li Ping to anyone in need of a kidney specialist. He is truly one of the best in the field. And, the nurses are helpful and friendly.

Was recommended to this good 👍 hospital by my school mate & she had a seamless journey. Well I guess I made the right 👍 choice too, I was well managed by the patient navigation team. Right direction with a fast response too. Attentive and prompt service by the Ground floor registration counter, Welcoming and very comforting by the MO Dr Prem at A&E department. I felt very much 🙏❤️ warmth and no stress level was under control. Hence, the angels at Tulip 🌷 ward are also very fast and caring too. Kudos to Tan Li Ping 😀 as he is also very professional and has provided a good treatment for me. In general I'll say I'm very much satisfied and have introduced to my family members to make a visit if they need a treatment. Highly recommended for the great 👍 tasty meal & Ms Joyce does her explanation on the selection of food very well. I'm simply blessed for being at this good hospital 🏥
