I had a wonderful experience delivering my second baby at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 under the care of Prof Dr Imelda. My firstborn was also delivered in KPJ Damansara 1 with the same doctor, and just like before, she was professional, compassionate, and ensured I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the process. Our baby was born on Malaysia Day (16.9.2024), which made the experience even more special! The KPJ team surprised us with not one, but two lovely diaper hampers, and we had a group photo post delivery. Datin Dr Vanitha, the anesthetist, was highly professional and made me feel completely at ease. Dr Masri, the paediatrician, was also very careful and thorough with my baby’s care, giving me great peace of mind. The nurses were incredibly supportive and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. One of our favorite parts was the baby book they gave us. Along with all the baby’s information, they included an instant Polaroid photo, baby’s footprint, and put everything into a keepsake book. It was such a thoughtful touch! The food was also good, which made my stay even more comfortable. A doctor who is easy to talk to, always smiling, and puts mothers at ease. He is a strong advocate of breastfeeding. The first words from this pediatric specialist gave me hope, assuring me that my baby was healthy despite being born prematurely with a weight of 1.9 kg. He often shares tips and guidance on caring for premature babies and answers mothers' questions patiently and kindly. What I appreciate the most is that appointment times are efficient, with no long waits. The information provided is accurate, clear, and concise. For parents with no experience caring for a baby, I highly recommend him, as he is humble and treats us like family. It never feels awkward to ask any questions. I had a memorable experience being admitted as well as delivered my 2nd baby at KPJ Damansara 2. I was initially admitted under Dr Jaideep (Gastroenterologist) due to cholecystitis then unexpectedly delivered my baby prematurely at 34 weeks under care of Prof Dr Imelda (O&G consultant). Her professional expertise is beyond doubt and she kept me well-informed on the progress and options available for me. Dr Fadhli (Anaesthesiologist) gave me meticulous explanation on the risks and options of anesthesia (spinal vs GA) and very attentive to me to ensure for pain free experience post operation. Dr Masri (Neonatologist/Paediatrician) is very friendly, he encouraged and supported my breastfeeding journey despite being separated from my baby, and always keep us updated on his condition. The neonatal ward is also conveniently located just next to the maternity ward to accommodate regular visit for mothers. Overall, other than the calming ambience, the doctors’ proficiency kept my heart at ease and I am assured that I am in safe hands. The nurses in wards, labour room and clinic were also very skillful and supportive during my admission until I was discharged. I am truly grateful for the hospitality by DSH team and definitely will recommend them for top-notch medical service.

We have been seeing Dr Masri Muhamed since the birth of my son in Jan 2024. Special thanks to Dr Masri, a pediatrician who always has a smile on his face and is very helpful towards us. With his specialty in neonatologist, he always made it a point to answer all our questions and gives time to discuss our concerns & guide us first time parents with anything related to preemie baby. And also to his clinic assistant Ms Ayna - very friendly!!! 😊 and very helpful with the baby everytime during checkups, always there to help us & never awkward with changing the diapers & feeding the baby. Thank you both Dr Masri & Ayna for providing us with such wonderful service everytime during our appointments!! Such a great team. Highly recommended to see Dr Masri 😊

We are deeply thankful to the wonderful team at KPJ Damansara 2 for making our entire journey — from pregnancy to delivery and beyond — such a positive and memorable one. Dr. Liew was an amazing support throughout my pregnancy. Always kind, patient, and reassuring, he made both me and my husband feel safe and well cared for. On delivery day, Nurse Kavitha was truly an angel — so gentle, encouraging, and supportive during every contraction. As a first-time mom, her presence meant the world to me. Our baby was admitted for RDS right after birth, and we’re so grateful for the nursery team. Nurse Veronica stood out with her exceptional care, warmth, and attentiveness — always checking in on both baby and us with so much heart. All the nursery nurses were loving and dedicated. Dr. Masri, our baby’s specialist, was incredibly calm, patient, and thorough. Despite our many questions and concerns, he was always there with kindness and reassurance. We felt our baby was in the best hands. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Dr. Liew, Dr. Masri, Nurse Kavitha, Nurse Veronica, and the entire team.
