Her expertise lies in the pathogenesis and management of oral mucosal lesions, particularly Oral Lichen Planus, and she is actively involved in oral cancer research, focusing on biomarkers for early detection. She contributes to both teaching and clinical practice, managing oral mucosal lesions and orofacial pain, and reporting on oral pathology cases. Her research spans immune-mediated oral pathology, the association of sugar with oral cancer, and forensic applications of dental cementum characterization.
