      Dr. Rahmat Bin Omar is a highly experienced Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgeon at Sunway Medical Centre. He has been practicing Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery since 2001. He received his MBBS and Masters Degree in Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery from the University of Malaya. He further honed his skills with a subspecialty fellowship in Laryngology at the University of Pittsburgh in the USA. His areas of expertise include general ENT, voice disorders, head and neck laser surgery, airway reconstruction, snoring and sleep apnea surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, and minimally invasive ENT surgery. He's known for utilizing advanced techniques like CO2-laser microsurgery and balloon sinuplasty. Dr. Rahmat is also fluent in both English and Bahasa Melayu, making him accessible to a wider range of patients.       I was admitted for a procedure with Dr Rahmat , Larenyngeal Specialist . I got the best treatment and care during my two days there . The procedure was done well and I could continue with onward treatment. The nurses were also simply great and caring . Special mention to Fizi , of Ward 4B who always had a smile , and was really kind . This meant a lot as I was all alone during this time , with my family living abroad . Thank you once again and keep up the good work.

      Dr Rahmat Omar was truly exceptional. He listen to my concerns attentively, which I really appreciated. He was an understanding Dr, he explained my condition clearly and provided a comprehensive treatment plan that was effective. The female Malay nurse in Dr Rahmat clinic also very caring and polite, she following up with me all the time. I would definitely recommend Dr Rahmat to anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. Kudos :)

      The medical service provided in Sunway Medical Centre is fantastic. From the time we register at the counter, meeting the nurse,RAHAZEAH and the ENT consultant Dr RAHMAT bin OMAR are truly wonderful. RAHAZEAH is very caring and caters to the patient needs and makes me feel at ease. She has a real gift of communicating with patients.Well done. DR Rahmat treats the patient as if I am his ONLY patient, with great care and professional conduct. He listens and discharges his responsibilities admirably. Moreso, with his calm demeanour and gently voice soothes our medical problems. Dr Rahmat bin Omar is God's gift to us as patients.

      Highly recommended for Lung Specialist (Dr. Rosmadi), Paedriatric (Dr Nazrul), ENT (Dr. Gan Tong Nee), ENT (Dr Rahmat) & Cardiologist (Dr Kamal). It has now been over 20 years since I referred to this hospital for medical treatment for my family.
