I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the medical and support teams for the exceptional care and service I received during my recent admission for polyp surgery on 24 March 2026 at Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City. My heartfelt thanks go to Dr Shailendra S Sivalingam, ENT Surgeon, whose expertise and professionalism gave me great confidence in proceeding with the surgery under his care. Despite being eligible for free treatment at a government hospital, as my wife is a civil servant, I chose to undergo the procedure at your centre specifically because of Dr Shailendra’s reputation and skill. I would also like to convey my deep appreciation to Dr Lim Woon Lai, Anaesthesiologist, who was in charge on the day of the surgery and who took the time to carefully and clearly explain the procedure to me, which greatly reassured me. In addition, I wish to thank the surgical ward team, the dedicated nursing team at Ward 5A, the porters, and the staff from the laboratory and radiology departments. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness throughout my stay made my experience comfortable and stress-free.

I got referred to Dr Shailendra Sivalingam with right ear sudden hearing loss. He was very calm, professional and loving. He's patience with my questions - sudden hearing loss made me got so lost... It was very 'easy' decision to proceed surgery with Dr Shailendra because of his expertise in ENT and his loving patience and kind character. After surgery, I had a few follow ups with Dr Shailendra, my hearing slowly restored... I thanked the nursing team who cared for me Level 4, 4328-1. Kudos to his assistant nurse- Ms Priya, who served me with big smile and handle my queue waiting time (so many patients seeing Dr Shailendra😉) , it made my visit at Sunway Medical so much pleasant and homey....

Had a pleasant experience today . Doctor was kind enough to take his time to explain the possible causes of my nasal stuffiness and performed a very comfortable scope . Would highly recommend him to anyone .

I was seeing another ENT previously until a family member referred me to Dr Shailendra. Dr Shailendra is a very caring doctor. He doesn't rush through his assessment. He is also very patient in answering questions. If I don't understand, he will explain things patiently to me again. My elderly dad also had another ENT previously but sees Dr Shailendra now. He finds Dr Shailendra attentive and friendly. I understand that doctors are very busy with many patients. Due to this, some doctors lack empathy. It is never the case with Dr Shailendra. Despite his busy schedule, he provides attentive care for each of his patient. Yes, the waiting time can be a bit long but it is worth it because of the care you will receive from him. Highly recommend Dr Shailendra if you're looking for an ENT.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr Shailendra. After seeing other ENT specialists, we found him to be so much better and a breath of fresh air!. He took the time to explain everything to us, answered all our questions and was very gentle during the procedures. We would highly recommend him to others and will definitely return should the need arise again.
