Before coming to Sunway Medical Centre, my daughter was previously diagnosed and treated for Transverse Myelitis by a doctor in Indonesia. We decided to seek a second opinion with Dr. Tay Chee Geap at Sunway. Within just 24 hours, Dr. Tay conducted a complete assessment — including a full spinal MRI, blood tests, and autoimmune screening — and discovered that our daughter never had Transverse Myelitis. She was discharged the next day, completely healthy. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Tay’s thoroughness, prompt action, and genuine care. He took time to ensure we understood everything clearly. We were also very impressed by the Sunway Medical Centre staff and nurses — the admission process took only 15 minutes, and we even received a complimentary room upgrade. Nurse Lem was consistently gentle, patient, and meticulous in every treatment she performed. She always handled our son with great care, making him feel comfortable and at ease throughout his stay. Dr. Tay Chee Geap has been an amazing pediatrician for both of my daughters. He is gentle, patient, and takes the time to explain everything in detail. Nurses Rogini and Shamala were also wonderful, offering attentive and kind support during our visit at Sunway Medical Centre (Block D, L7-11). A fantastic team that I highly trust!
