Associate Professor Dr. Wong Chew Ming is a distinguished specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at UM Specialist Centre (UMSC), renowned for his pioneering work in ABO-incompatible living donor kidney transplantation (ABOi LDKT) using a low-dose rituximab protocol since 2014. His research contributions include novel methods for predicting chronic kidney disease and investigating genetic associations in Malaysian patients. Dr. Wong's leadership is recognized through his roles in the Malaysian Society of Transplantation and public education for the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia.
