Overall, we had a positive experience at the hospital. We are very grateful to Dr. Mah, as well as the emergency doctors, nurses, and the staff at Ward 5A. They were professional, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. They clearly explained the patient’s condition and provided appropriate care and treatment, which helped to relieve the symptoms and gave us reassurance. We would especially like to thank Dr. Mah for acting promptly when the condition became more serious. Despite the emergency department being full, arrangements were made for a cabin so the patient could rest, which we truly appreciate. However, there is one area that we hope can be improved. The availability of hospital beds was limited. We understand that overcrowding can happen in government hospitals, but we did not expect to encounter the same situation in a private hospital. This was our first experience with such a delay — we waited from morning until evening without being assigned a bed, and during this time, no meal was provided. Although a cabin was arranged for temporary rest, the waiting time was still quite long. We hope this issue can be improved in the future. Thank you once again to the medical team for their dedication and care.

I am deeply grateful to the entire medical team for the care I received, especially Dr. Mah Jon Kooi. He was incredibly patient in explaining my condition and treatment options, always making sure I felt at ease. Whenever I experienced pain, it was addressed promptly, and his advice—especially when I was unsure about proceeding with surgery—was thoughtful and reassuring. Despite a very busy schedule, he even took the time to meet my father and explain my condition and the procedure clearly, which meant a lot to my family and me. The nurses were kind, attentive, and supportive throughout my stay, making a stressful experience much more comfortable. I would also like to thank the staff who assisted with my MRI for their professionalism, patience, and clear guidance, which helped me feel calm during the procedure.
