Recommended by my aunt to see Dr. Mallina for my 4-year-old child's sinus issues. Seeing the convincing assessment and explanation, I decided to consult the doctor for my own sore throat problem on the same day. The doctor prescribed medication and saline for flushing for my child, and a follow-up was needed a few weeks later (thankfully, following the doctor's advice, my child's sinuses have been improving). For myself, the doctor recommended undergoing double surgeries to remove both tonsils and treat sinusitis due to recurring and severe infections (surgeries were performed on December 14th, 2023). Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly from pre-op to post-op. The assessments and procedures were well explained, including post-op care (don't hesitate to ask questions). The entire process was quick – from my initial check-up to admission for the procedure a week later. After the procedure, I didn't experience any sneezing for nearly two weeks, which was beneficial for my nose's recovery. Normally, due to my sinusitis and allergies, even minor dust exposure would trigger teary eyes, a runny or blocked nose. However, since the surgery, these symptoms have significantly reduced, and I haven't experienced them as severely as before. During the follow-up appointment, I received detailed instructions on medication usage and how to care for my nose and throat.
