We had an exceptional experience at Columbia Asia Hospital, Setapak, under the care of Dr. Mohd Suhaimi Hassan. Dr. Suhaimi is an incredible doctor with vast knowledge and experience in fertility treatments. He is kind, patient, and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, always considering the patient's perspective. Nurse Pheny and the rest of the staff were also very supportive and caring throughout our journey. The hospital is clean, well-organized, and has excellent staff, from admin to security. When we arrived with labor pains, the team promptly arranged everything, and Dr. Suhaimi rushed to the hospital to ensure a smooth and confident delivery. We were blessed with a normal and healthy delivery. Although we had signed up for a double room as part of the delivery package, we had to move to single room due to availability. The single room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, allowing a family member to stay. The nurses provided exceptional care for both mother and baby, especially when the mother needed rest. They explained everything in detail during discharge, and the package even covered pediatric visits. While we stayed an extra day for the baby’s monitoring, the overall experience was excellent. I had the most wonderful experience at Columbia Asia Setapak Hospital, and I cannot recommend it enough! Dr. Suhaimi, the Obstetrician & Gynecologist, is truly exceptional. He made me feel completely at ease throughout my pregnancy and delivery. His attention to detail and caring nature, even after childbirth, was so reassuring. Recently, I had an abscess, and Dr. Suhaimi helped me with that as well, providing excellent care and ensuring I was comfortable during the treatment. He approaches his patients with a fatherly, compassionate attitude, making me feel supported every step of the way. Dr. R. Rajeswari, the anesthesiologist, was also incredible. She was professional, calming, and made sure I was comfortable and well-informed during the entire process. A special mention to the amazing nurses at MD1 Ward 57 – they were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. Their help and support were invaluable. I would especially like to thank Nurul and Penny, who went above and beyond to assist during my visits. Their positive and caring approach made a huge difference in my experience. If you are looking for a great team to support you through childbirth or any medical care, I highly recommend Dr. Suhaimi and the entire team at Columbia Asia Setapak. New visit: Admitted because of non-stop coughing. Was treated by Dr Fong and Dr Sharir. Was taken good care by the nurses here, especially Nurse Aisyah. Great diagnosis too. i was at room ward MD4, 96 from 31st Oct - 3rd Nov. Labour and Nursery: Wonderful group of Doctors, Nurses and midwives from the day we admitted into the labour room, right until the day we discharged with our newborn child. Doctor Suhaimi always push the best for the patient, and understand the parents needs and wants. Midwives and nurses are really supporting when mummy are in the active labour stage. Baby is well taken care of by the nurses at the nursery, and they always do proper check-ins with us. They also provide us with valuable tips, guidances and all.
