Nurse, facility & services: 5 ⭐ Food: certain meals can be too salty. 4 ⭐ Admissions & discharge in respect of insurance claim: very slow. I had to wait 6 hours before being given a bed. Discharge process takes time too or maybe the doctor was trying to rip off my insurance because i was hold for another day despite me being very clear i wanted to be discharged the day before. 3 ⭐ Asyraf from Radiology: very kind, gentle & considerate. He's so respectful to me throughout his service. 5 ⭐ Amirrul from Rehabilitation: the best physio experience ever. He explains & shares so many things to me. I gain a lot of useful knowledge from him. He also encourage me to do take-home exercise every day. Please raise his salary 👏🏻 1000⭐ Dr Malini from Sports Medicine: she assessed my condition gently and thoroughly and then proceed to explaining the whole situation VERY CLEARLY. I appreciate her using simple terms & not overwhelmed us by jargons. Love that! 5 ⭐ Dr Muru from Orthopedic: he was kind in the beginning & explain my condition nicely. But when he hold me for another day in the ward with an excuse that it's already night for discharge process, I felt something is not right. After he told me the cost of operations i said the amount has exceeded my insurance coverage & i would need to go to other hospital within my means. Dr Muru tried to help by getting in touch with his friend in HKL & according to Dr Muru's nurse i will have a surgery within 10 days and I have to wait for HKL nurse to call me. 5 days after that i still haven't received any call from HKL nurse so I got in touch with Dr Muru's clinic. The nurse said she'll ask Dr Muru about it. Days went by without any update nor phone calls. Until Friday i kept calling Dr Muru and HKL trying to confirm the said arrangement but to no avail. In the end, i finally got to call Dr Muru on Friday 4pm. He admitted that he got all the messages & queries from his nurse and PROCEED TO SCOLD ME. i was extremely shocked by this bcs this attitude is the total opposite of Dr Muru i met the week before. He raised his voice and repeatedly say he cannot arrange everything for me & there's nothing else he can do. I was so dumbfounded by this bcs HAD HE OR HIS CLINIC CALLED ME 3 days earlier, I would have tried other ways to get the treatment. But NOBODY CALLED ME TO SAY SO. Now all I'm getting is scorn by Dr Muru & still in pain. So, no thank you for Dr Muru's service..avoid him at all cost. He is dishonest with his words 👎🏻 0 ⭐

I had my knee procedure at Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil on 2 March with Dr. Muru (Dr. Murugeaswaran A/L Silvaraju), and I am truly grateful for the care I received. I walked in feeling extremely anxious and traumatized due to a very painful experience I had previously at another hospital. Even though Dr. Muru had reassured me during my earlier consultation, I was still very nervous on the day of the procedure. However, the moment he began working on my right knee, I immediately knew I was in the right hands. Dr. Muru was incredibly gentle, calm, and professional, and his technique made a world of difference. My fear slowly disappeared as the procedure went on because I could feel the level of care and expertise. What impressed me the most was not just his skill, but his compassion. I recently had ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus Repair Surgery and am grateful for the excellent care I received. A big thank you to Dr. Murugeaswaran (Orthopedic Surgeon) for his expertise and to Dr. Nagappan (Anesthesiologist) for ensuring a smooth procedure. I also appreciate Ms. Norhazmi and Mr. Ravikumar (Physiotherapists) for their guidance in my recovery. My first experience was back in December 2024, after I had a fall near my housing area post-work. I was in severe pain with barely able to walk, with intense discomfort in my left knee, neck, and shoulder. Dr. Muru attended to my case with utmost care. He provided a clear explanation of the possible causes of my pain and immediately began treatment. I was admitted for almost a week and later continued as an outpatient for physiotherapy and monthly follow-ups. Thanks to the care and professionalism shown, the pain has significantly reduced and is now manageable. A special shoutout to the inward physiotherapist Emy and the outpatient therapist Shobeni. You both are simply amazing. Thank you for always listening and providing the best possible care during every physio session. Then, in May 2025, I faced another health issue. After feeling unwell for a few days and not improving even after visiting a clinic, I went to the emergency department at Columbia. The nurses and medical assistants on duty acted promptly and explained the possible conditions I might be facing. After further examination, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, and this time my case was handled by the wonderful Dr. Khoo. He patiently walked me through the MRI results, clearly explained the condition, and discussed the most suitable treatment options with me. Dr. Khoo was incredibly kind and understanding throughout the process. I must admit that.."sorry, Dr. Khoo, my pain tolerance is quite low!" But your calm, reassuring manner truly helped ease my worries. The surgery went smoothly, and I’m still under his care for follow-ups to this day. Overall, from the moment I walked into the emergency room to being warded, treated, and discharged, the experience was seamless and warm. The care, attentiveness, and professionalism shown by everyone made me feel safe and confident throughout. Columbia Asia Hospital Bukit Jalil will always be my first choice for any medical need.
