Dr. Gan Chye Chung is a distinguished Consultant Nephrologist and Internist at UM Specialist Centre, renowned for his advanced expertise in Interventional Nephrology. His international training is extensive, having completed a prestigious fellowship in Interventional Nephrology at Singapore General Hospital and further specialized training under the Japanese Society for Dialysis Access. This elite overseas experience, combined with his recognition as an International Society of Nephrology (ISN) Interventional Nephrology Scholar, positions him at the global forefront of kidney care. A Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians of London and Edinburgh, Dr. Gan's credentials from the United Kingdom are a testament to his high standards of practice. He is recognized as the first Interventional Nephrologist in Malaysia trained in complex endovascular dialysis access procedures, and he established the first multidisciplinary Interventional Nephrology Service at University Malaya Medical Centre.
