Alhamdulillah, my experience throughout my checkups and delivery at KPJ Taiping Medical Centre was very satisfying. From my first child to my second, I chose Dr. Karen for all my checkups and delivery process. In fact, the IUI journey for my first child was also with Dr. Karen. The doctor is very professional, gentle, and always provided reassurance throughout my journey as a mother 🤍 For both deliveries, I opted for an epidural, and coincidentally, the anesthesiologist who managed me for both children was Dr. Ong. My epidural experience was very good and was a great help throughout the labor process. Furthermore, all the nurses in the maternity ward were very kind, friendly, caring, and always helpful whenever needed. Thank you to all the staff at KPJ Taiping for making my affairs so much easier from beginning to end. Highly recommended 🫶🏻

The birthing experience at KPJ Taiping Medical Centre with Dr. Karen was very satisfying. From pregnancy to delivery, the service was excellent and the staff were friendly. I almost needed a C-section after my dilation stalled at 3cm for 2 days, but Dr. Karen was very calm and gave me and my husband space to make a decision. Praise be to God, I finally managed a normal delivery of my 3.76kg baby without any tearing. Even though I almost lost hope, Dr. Karen and the nurses were always encouraging. Thank you also to the KPJ Taiping staff for the best service and free gifts like a car seat and baby items. I am very grateful to have had a beautiful birthing experience and a more peaceful postpartum period without stitches. Highly recommended!

I am very satisfied with the care provided by Dr. Karen. She is very thorough and efficient. I delivered both my first and second babies with her, and I never felt afraid or traumatized about giving birth. Even the nurses from the klinik kesihatan who visited my home to check my stitches mentioned that the stitches were beautifully done, and I recovered quickly during my confinement period. The price is also very affordable. I had my first IUCD inserted here without any pain at all, and today I had my second IUCD inserted after 5 years again, completely painless. I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Karen told me that she had also performed a Pap smear during the procedure. It only took about 5 minutes, I didn’t feel any discomfort, and my modesty was well respected as everything was handled by female staff, Sheila and Shirly. I truly feel comfortable here, and if I were to give birth again in the future, I would definitely choose Dr Karen at KPJ Taiping once more.

Sorry for the late review 😅 The best moment ever. First delivery at KPJ Taiping with Dr. Karen. A friendly doctor. Initially came just for a gender scan. Immediately decided to deliver here. LSCS with BTL. Third C-section experience. But Alhamdulillah. Dr. Karen was very helpful and gave suggestions for this and that, don't do this and don't do that. The important thing is to follow what the doctor advised. Today is day 23 postpartum. I can walk fast. People say it doesn't feel like postpartum confinement. Haha!! But internally, I'm still extra careful. Because we don't know how things are internally. The external wound is definitely dry and looks good. The C-section scar is beautiful with one line. Happy me, happy baby! Thank you Dr. Karen, Sheila, and all the KPJ staff. Save money, guys. Deliver here. Hahahaha! It's truly the best!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Had experienced to deliver my baby boy with Dr. Karen on 11 Mar 2026. The whole process was very smooth from the pre-maternity to maternity and post-maternity. All the staffs there are very helpful by providing their best services in taking care the patient. As a Muslim, I really appreciate as only female staffs (Doctors and Nurses) in charge treating me especially in labour and post-labour. The hospital facilities is good and I had really good rest for three days which help to pace up my recovery process. As for the cost is very reasonable and exactly as what Dr. Karen discussed with me and husband. Sooooo I would like to say my thanks to everyone - Dr. Karen, Dr. Koey, Shiela, Shirley, all the staff from level 2 and 3 for the wonderful maternity journey. Definitely will come again and recommend TMC and Dr. Karen to those seeking for best quality pregnancy care.
