Dr Yap Lok Huei performed a complex functional rhinoplasty on my nose after I had already undergone two unsuccessful surgeries in the UK. From the very first consultation, he understood that my case was not straightforward and treated it with the seriousness and care it deserved. Before the surgery, Dr Yap met with me multiple times to discuss the plan in detail. He listened carefully to all of my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood each stage of the process. He is very knowledgeable, and his qualifications speak for themselves, but what stood out just as much was how attentive he was throughout. The surgery itself has been a real success. I now have a straight nose, can breathe properly through my nose for the first time in my life, and can finally sleep through the night without constantly waking up. The impact on my quality of life has been enormous. His aftercare was also truly world-class. Even after my surgery, at around 11pm, he stayed in the hospital until I had woken up so he could greet me and check on me personally. In the weeks and months afterwards, he made a point of seeing me regularly to make sure my nose remained straight, that my breathing was improving, and that we achieved the best possible result. I am deeply grateful to Dr Yap. His skill and commitment to his patients truly make him exceptional.

Dr Yap was attentive and easily conversational during consultation, was unhurried, resulting in scheduled Colonoscopy/OGDS 3 days later. Colonoscopy prep took 2 hours at home and procedures were later carried out under full sedation in the afternoon. Dr Yap came in for a briefing after procedure and reports given upon discharging. Pathology report took a few days but arrived with good news. Overall painless experience and without post-procedure after effects whatsoever. All in a day's work. Only drawback was 2 hour delay wait in freezing daycare wardroom. Brrrrrr......

Great experience with Dr. Yap. The doctor is kind, patient, professional, and caring towards patients. If there are any questions, the doctor will explain in detail. And another plus point is that Dr. Yap gives his contact information to patients and will answer their questions. After undergoing endoscopy and colonoscopy, I felt nothing. This is because a friend of mine experienced pain after their endoscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr Yap took care of my Mom very well. He didn’t rush into recommending treatments when not necessary. The endoscopy was very smooth and painless. Additionally, he even offered extra help with admin for insurance claims. So grateful for Dr Yap’s expertise, kindness, and care. Highly recommended!
