In May 2023 I was falling down from staircase at my workplace in Bayan Lepas,and it's happen on Saturday noon.My left ankle can't move at all in that moment & turn swollen in just few minutes . Thought of it would be eased down after some time,but it became worse at night and the next day morning ( Sunday) , I went to the well known private hospital ( P.H ) located in Bayan Lepas nearby my house ,I walked in with an umbrella as a clutch ( because I do not have one) to the front desk,and the receptionist diverted me to another area was told for out patient, I hardly walk in futher and the staff in the registration desk tell me to *Go home* come tomorrow or another day,because Sunday don't have Orthopaedic Dr. on duty !!. I was shocked with her answer,she is not trying to help at all,not even suggest me to the Emergency unit may be .After that ,I try searching contact through Google search for 2 others famous hospital in Penang Island,but the answer was same * No Orthopaedic Dr on duty on Sunday* and the other one no body pick up at all,end up I saw a name on google which is not familiar to me * Kek Lok Si Charity Hospital*..Thanks God I managed to get them for help 🙏.Greatly appreciated for Dr.Lim Min Yuan help.He was willing to come back to the hospital on his rest day,and was so attentive & professional. My ankle healing in one and a half month time instead of 3 months. A praised to *Kek Lok Si Charity Hospital* and Dr Lim Min Yuan ( Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon). Last month I've done x-ray here for my knee pain. The Ed staff were very helpful towrds me. Then I done knee x-ray at x-ray department. X-ray staff were very compassionate toward me and give protection for radiation and very easy to understand. After that I met Dr Lim Min Yuen to diagnose me and he were very professional to explaining to me about my knee. I feel like this is the best hospital on the island. Thank you so much!!

My first experience visiting KLS Charitable Hospital (KLSCH) today was a positive one. I arrived earlier without a parking spot, however a quick enquiry and the security officer advised to park at KLS Temple (inform parking attendant visiting KLSCH, receive ticket and get ticket stamped after settling your hospital bill. Parking fee is RM1 for as long as you would like). Information counter upon entry was very polite and attentive. I collected a number while they confirmed my appointment. I proceeded to the registration counter to input my further details. Up I went to the 1st floor to see Dr. Lim Min Yuen, a pleasant consultant orthopedic surgeon. He performed an ultrasound and spent time addressing my two injuries attentively. A further referral was given for future need of physiotherapy. My total consultation bill after the discount was a very affordable MYR70. I walked out feeling pleasantly surprised knowing KLSCH provides good service and affordable healthcare in a modern private hospital setting. The difference is there isn't a crowd like all private hospitals. Thank you KLSCH, Dr. Lim and staff.

Our mom wasn't able to walk without pain due to osteoarthritis. She had a bilateral total knee replacement by Dr. Lim Min Yuen recommended by her friend and is now able to walk after a few weeks of surgery. We are very grateful for the successful TKR surgery for both her knees. Thank you Dr Lim and all the staff for the great service. KLSH is definitely better than any other private hospitals!
