It was a very good experience. The best consultant, Dr. Shazli, at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital. Many thanks to all the staff in the Orthopaedic ward who were very friendly, caring, and helpful — especially Kasful, Suhana, Mira, Aisyah, Izni, Mira CA, and the student nurses. The kitchen staff were also very friendly. Sorry if I missed out any names — all of you are truly the best. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent care and support. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Mohd Ridzo and Dr. Shazli provided excellent service and treatment. The staff nurses were efficient and prompt. From the Surgical Ward, I always received good and helpful assistance from Mr. Romzi. Upon entering the main entrance, I was warmly welcomed by the Customer Service staff.

Dr. Shazli and kak Iza has been such a great help. My treatment here has been very pleasant. I would recommend this doctor to anyone looking for an endocrine, hormone and diabetes specialist.

Chose to give birth here as this is also where my endocrinologist is. Been well taken care of by To’ Puan Dr Maziah & Dr Shazli for the whole 9 Months of my pregnancy journey and all the way post birth. I have several health conditions so the doctors helped monitor and advise really well. Both doctors were very encouraging and positive. My water broke the day before the elective c section (10 September) and I as wheeled into the ward where me and my baby’s vitals were all strictly managed. The anaesthesiologist Dr Jude made an introduction and confirmed all the sensitivities and allergies I have with medication so he can determine how to best support my c section. Said allergies were reconfirmed several times on the way to the OT just in case. He has great taste in music and very patiently inserted the epidural properly. The whole procedure is explained in detail so I knew what to expect. The pain was extremely well managed and baby and I safely completed the c section. Post birth, the maternity ward nurses were very helpful in not only helping to care for me and my baby but also in teaching us how to help baby latch and how to care for baby. I started walking the very next day. There is also a good space for my husband to rest and stay with us. For mummies who aren’t ready with luggage for baby’s arrival, no worries. The hospital will help provide. To Puan, Dr Shazli & Dr Jude made daily visits to check on our condition. A paediatrician (Dr Musa) was assigned to my baby and he did all the preliminary tests that determined my baby was happy and healthy. Thanks to the care received, my c section scar was healing well and baby was healthy. We were able to leave the ward on the 3rd day to go home. For my first and only experience with birth, I felt supported by all doctors and nurses and I’m grateful for the positive experience. KPJ Damansara is a great place to be if you want experienced doctors and nurses who can help your pregnancy and birth journey.
