I had a very positive experience at Columbia Asia Hospital - Setapak. From the Emergency Department to the ward staff, even the cleaners—everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and professional. Their level of care really made a difference during a stressful time. The admission process did take quite a while, but once we were settled in, everything else was handled smoothly. My child was admitted due to a high fever and was later diagnosed with COVID-19 (which honestly came as quite a surprise 😅). A special mention to Dr. Ng K.J, who treated my daughter, Nadine—truly excellent and very attentive. He also provided the necessary supporting documents promptly, which really helped me with my company submission. I would also like to thank the physiotherapist who attended to Nadine. The suction procedure (for both nose and mouth) and chest physiotherapy sessions were handled with great care and professionalism. It really helped her breathing and comfort during recovery. Not to forget all the MD1 ward staff who took great care of Nadine—administering her medication on time, ensuring meals were delivered promptly, and always checking in on her condition. A big thank you as well to the cleaning staff who maintained the room cleanliness twice daily, which made the environment much more comfortable for us. The food was good as well—ironically, while my child wasn’t eating much, I found myself enjoying the meals more than expected! 😂 This hospital has definitely become my first choice. My husband was previously admitted here for dengue fever, and we had a great experience back then too. That’s actually why we chose to return—and once again, they did not disappoint. Highly recommended for their excellent service and care.

My son age 3y8m, stayed in Columbia Asia Setapak Hospital for 7 Days (12th Jan - 18th Jan 2025) due to dengue fever.I was so appreciative of the care that my son received from the staff nurses who on duty at emergency ward on 12th Jan 2025 (between 12pm till 3.30pm) before my son placed into a ward room no 81A.The staff nurse on duty at triage rushed into MO when she found out my son body temperature at 40’C, and whole team at ER treated my son very well before paediatrician :Dr Ng KJ took over. Then my son admitted to ward 81A. There,Im not alone to handle my son especially when the high fever spiked up to 39-41 degrees.They always with me whenever I pressed the calling button.Not even that they will just come to my room and asked about my son and offered assistance .Their unwavering commitments to my son and genuine care they showed in every situation is truly inspiring.Staff nurses Ms.Madlene came to my room and passed a balloon to my son to cheer up him.Her emotional and empathy provide in their roles towards my son are much appreciated.Not only that, to Staff nurses name : Madlene, Marylyn, Farah, Nadia, Yasmin, Rugia, Wanie & Suziani and others (not sure their name) who on duty in ward 81A (you know who you are)we are so proud of you & I would like to compliment the professional, attentive and heartwarming services assigned to my son during that memorable 7days hospitality CAH had provide to us.May God blessed all of you abundantly today and always. 💜 Mumy Asadel & Family

Alhamdulillah, the 5-day, 4-night holiday in ward MD3 (86b) has concluded 🤣🤣. Nurse Farah, Nurse Fiza, Nurse Mary, Nurse Gunah, Nurse Syafiqah, Nurse Kaya, and all the nurses were extremely helpful in assisting me in managing my autistic child, Yaya, to receive treatment. Physiotherapist Auntie Rubi and Anna also helped a lot, to the point where there were no screams during physiotherapy sessions. Dr. KJ and Dr. Chang are the best Pediatrician and Dermatologist 👍👍👍👍. Thank you also to Nurse Aichin for helping me during the follow-up appointment. My daughter is active again and the eczema has subsided.

Thank you to Dr Ng KJ and all nurses from multidispline ward from Level 2 for taking care of my daughter, Aisya room no 63 last week. My daughter finally discharged and not keep longer. Dr Ng really explained well and give better medicine in order to reduce her body temp. From KPJ Tawakkal, we moved here.. the emergency dept also good in terms of service, just we got into ward a bit late due to room and baby cot. But overall from admission, ward and the discharge counter everything was smooth. The meal also good, my daughter really enjoy the morning porridge, lunch and dinner time. The kitchen incharge person will come to your room, explain about the menu and can choose from the catalogue (if you dont answer call on the room telephone). From bottom of my heart, I really really recommended you guys to get treatment here, + the visitor time is from 9am to 9pm (much longer than other hospital).

I recently brought my son to Columbia Asia Hospital Setapak, and I must say the experience was excellent from start to finish. Starting at the emergency unit, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The staff ensured all procedures, including the COVID test and blood test, were completed efficiently. Once the results were released, my son was quickly transferred to a two-bedded room. I later requested a single room, and while only the premium single room was available, it was offered at an affordable rate. The room was spacious and well-equipped, including a microwave and freezer, which was incredibly convenient. The service throughout our stay was top-notch. Special thanks to Dr. Ng Kar Jin, the nurses, physiotherapist, and the medical team for their care and dedication. They ensured my son received the best treatment possible. The hospital facilities were also impressive. The food served at the café was of excellent quality, adding to the overall comfort during our stay. I’m very thankful for the outstanding care and would highly recommend Columbia Asia Hospital Setapak to anyone in need of medical services.
