Unlike many who seem money‑minded and quick to recommend unnecessary tests, Dr. Ong gives honest advice and puts her patients first. For example, a well‑known gynecologist at the same hospital once advised me to do a thalassemia test, even though my previous blood results were normal. Later, other doctors confirmed the test was unnecessary. While it caused no harm, it wasted money and time — and to me, that felt unethical. Too often, patients trust whatever doctors say, not realizing some recommendations are profit‑driven rather than patient‑driven. Dr. Ong is different. She listens, explains clearly, and never hides behind medical jargon. She genuinely helps her patients without pushing them into needless procedures. In today’s society, we need more doctors like her — professionals who uphold integrity and care above all else.
