I came to Malaysia with my mother for a health check-up from December 28th to December 31st. My mother has been suffering from diabetes for a long time, and her condition at the time was quite severe, with frequent shortness of breath, tremors, and extreme weakness. Walking even about 4 meters felt strenuous, so my mother spent most of her time in the car. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the doctors and all the facilities at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, especially Dr. Mohamed Saiful Bahari Mohd Kassim, who treated my mother with utmost professionalism. Initially, I registered through IHH Center, but there was a communication issue. When we arrived at the hospital around 9:00 AM with our appointment confirmation, the appointment was not yet recorded in the doctor's administration. After a lengthy discussion, we were eventually given an appointment, but it was scheduled for the very end of the day, around 5:00 PM. On that morning, my mother had a blood test, and then we were asked to wait. Due to my mother's weak condition, we did not engage in much activity and simply waited for the subsequent examinations. We finally met Dr. Saiful around 6:15 PM, as he had a high volume of patients. Based on the blood test results, the doctor advised that my mother needed to be admitted for inpatient care that very day. I believe this decision was very appropriate and swift. During the inpatient stay, my mother was managed by three specialist doctors, including internal medicine, hematology, and gastroenterology. My mother also underwent a CT scan, and thankfully, the results did not indicate any other serious issues. Since her admission on December 29th until December 31st, my mother's condition has shown a significant improvement. Her breathing is more stable, tremors have reduced, and her overall condition is much better compared to when we first arrived. The service provided by the doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, as well as the condition of the rooms and hospital facilities, were excellent, clean, and professional. However, I also want to be honest and state that excellent service comes with a corresponding cost. For a 3-day, 2-night inpatient stay, the total cost incurred was approximately RM 20,000. Although it was a substantial amount, I feel the cost was justified by the results and my mother's significantly improved condition. I am writing this review in the hope that it will assist friends from Indonesia who are planning to seek medical treatment at this hospital, so they can prepare their finances, time, and mental state more thoroughly. Thank you, Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Dr. Saiful, for the invaluable assistance and care provided to my mother.

It was July 2019 when my daughter fell sick. She was diagnosed with Diabetic Type 1 when my wife and I were told by Dr Saiful Kasim, Endocrinologist of Gleneagle Ampang. Never in our life to expect this news what more to think our daughter was just 9 years old then. But Allah has better plan, kami redho dan serahkan segalanya kepada Allah yang lebih mengetahui. Go back to that evening when we sent our daughter to the emergency department Gleneagle Ampang. She was thin and skinny which now only we remember that she loss her weight in less than 2 weeks. She was warded that evening and Doctor Lim a pediatrician was on duty that day. He attended to my daughter and performed all kind of diagnoses that he could. At the end of the next day, at the nick of the time, he found out that my daughter's sugar level was unreadable!!. Without wasting anymore time, my daughter was rushed to the ICU. It was 10.30pm, I could still remember the time. My wife and I were asked to wait outside the ICU. We pray to Allah, we leave to Him, Allah the Almighty. It was about 1 30 am when Doctor Lim saw us again and started to explain what went wrong and what was the action his team has taken to treat my daughter. That was the time, that we heard Dr Saiful's name was mentioned to us. He was there at wee hours in the morning attending to my daughter with the help of Dr Lim. He was called in to attend to my daughter because what my daughter's suffered from was his area of practice. We met Dr Saiful the next day after his morning check to our daughter. There he stood, calm and very professional explaining in detail what our daughter is going through. I still remember his soothing and convincing words telling us that we are not out of the wood yet, but he and his team is doing their level best to attend to our daughter's case. Through enough, he has given full attention to our daughter and updating us on her progress on daily basis. He admitted that he is not specialized in children diabetic. I must say that with his experience and dedicated to his works, my daughter sailed through and eventually fully recovered. My opinion, it doesn't matter if my daughter is juvenile case, but Dr Saiful has done a remarkable job, Alhamdulillah. We continued seeing Dr Saiful for few follow up check ups after that. And today, Alhamdulillah, my daughter live in a healthy and normal life. Hats off to Dr Saiful, the team and Gleneagle staff for their dedication and maintaining professionalism in giving their treatment to my daughter. Keep up the good work Dr Saiful.

I was diagnosed stage 1 Kidney cancer in May 2019. I was referred to Gleneagles hospital for treatment under the care of Dr CS Loh, a well known Urologist. Due to my abnormal blood pressure and thyroid issue, I was suspected to have Conn syndrome. I was then referred to seek Endocrinologist professional advice at the same time. That was when I encountered Dr Saiful B Kassim. I was grateful to have consulted Dr Saiful on this aspect of my medical condition. Dr Saiful was very patient and careful to conduct relevant diagnostic. After all the findings, I was grateful that Dr Saiful has administered proper treatment on me. During the process of my treatment, Dr Saiful was very attentive to explain every detail, as I was feeling anxious at that time. He would calm the patient with his affirmation. I would say Dr Saiful is a caring and knowledgeable doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Saiful since 2019 and I've always been impressed by his approachable and ever patient demeanor towards his patients. From the moment you step into his office until he sees you out, he always made sure you'd feel at home and you can tell by watching all the patients going in and out of his room. He has been supportive and encouraging and to say the least, amazing at diagnosing my hyperthyroid and has explained my condition to me in a way that a child could understand. He is an exemplary doctor and I can only wish all the other doctors out there can be just as caring for their patients as Dr. Saiful has been with me.
