Thank you to Datin Dr Sharmila and all the nursing staff for taking such good care of me from admission until discharge. I truly appreciate the patience and kindness shown, especially during the night when I needed assistance to go to the toilet and was unwell — the nurses attended to me calmly and compassionately. There was only one incident that made me uncomfortable. During the pre-check-up while I was resting on the waiting bed, a nurse was about to take my blood sample when an anonymous MO suddenly instructed her not to proceed, mentioning from a distance that the test was expensive (around RM50,000). Due to my condition at the time, I did not respond. I personally have no issue with the cost as it falls within my insurance coverage. However, I believe it would have been more appropriate to consult me and explain the available options instead of making assumptions. Not working in a listed and big company should not determine how a patient is treated. Other than this isolated incident, my experience was excellent. This was my first time being warded and I cannot compare with other hospital, and overall the care and service were very good. Gandhi, you absolutely marvelous!

I came in for an emergency chest pain and later was diagnosed with stomach ulcers and fibroids and had to undergo laproscopic whole hysterectomy. I was very well treated and taken care by caring and attentive Dr Tang Boon Nee (Gynae), Datin Dr Sharmila (Gastro) & Dr Navin (Cardio). Thank you to all nurses at the ER and Ward 3 Post Natal too! Service is always fast and attentive. Food & Service Chitra, complete the days with her happy greetings every meal time, keep up the great team work SJMC!
