Me and my mother admitted under Dr Chen HC and he was a very professional doctor and the explanation was top tier . But my highlights about endoscopy unit. My admission was done by this one male staff nurse ,name afiq if not mistaken. He explained everything from A to Z and even show us where is the recovery bay toilet and locker room. Before the procedure this one male staff nurse cant remember his name but he's Singh he talk to me a bit rude not like the earlier staff nurse and he tried to put the needle on my hand and it was a failure and its hurt like crazy and he dont even say sorry and leave me like that ,and coincidentally previous male nurse Afiq he entered the room to take something and he noticed that im about to cry and reassuring that the pain will stop and he asked the the singh staff to take the ice and staff afiq asked me whether he can try to put the needle and he promised to be gentle as he can. The procedure went well because he keep distracting me and keep me laughing with his joke . Apparently he knows what he doing because no pain at all not like before Before discharge we met afiq one more time and he able to re explain back the report that dr chen forgot to explain. What a charming guy , knowledgeable and skillfull gentleman. I thought my encounter with him.is over but the next day he called to ask me whether im okay or not because dr chen did removed some polyps and he still remember about the accident about my hand swelling and asked if the pain is still there or not and how was it. Im really feel touch by his gesture tho So kudos afiq and dr chen really hope to see both of you again if i go into endoscopy unit again

My wife experienced severe abdominal pain on 2 April 2026 and was first attended to at the Emergency Department by Farah Zuhairi Muqri and Dr. Shaari. All procedures were carried out in an orderly manner, with clear and professional explanations provided throughout. We were then referred for a scan by Dr. Farhana and Dr. Chen. Even while on call, they were attentive, approachable, and provided excellent explanations with a warm and reassuring attitude. We were subsequently transferred to the ward with the assistance of Afifah Shazreen, while Adam supported us with the documentation process. In Ward 6, Siti and the rest of the team ensured that all processes ran smoothly throughout our stay. The Radiology team was outstanding—very calm and professional, which helped ease my wife’s panic and distress. The kitchen staff also provided meals courteously and professionally. Special thanks to Muzzamir and his team for efficiently managing the delivery of personal belongings, as well as to Jin Weng and Manorani for the beautiful bouquet. Overall, excellent job by Picaso. The staff are well-trained, professional, and highly knowledgeable.
