Could not rec Dr Paul Yap enough, very professional , thorough explaination and calming personality, very expert in his field that i didn't feel anything after colonoscopy and Endoscopy and luckily Dr Paul is quite prompt on replying whatsapp for a follow through 👏👏

How i found him? From here! So i thought i should share my experience with others, being dr paul’s patient. Ive suffered severe abdomen pain that i thought it was a gastric or probably an ulcer for more than 7 years.. but in last aug 2022 I was rushed to two ED’s within 3 days and the doctors who treated me says it was just a gastric attack. Once the pain subside.. they sent me home without further treatment.. And one of the hospital set an appointment for a breathe test.. which in november. So i look for a second opinion and google around for a gastro specialist. And found dr paul’s..read the reviews, and decided to set an appointment with dr paul, he listened to my symptoms and directly said, this is not gastric or ulcers this is “gallstones” .. i was stunned, cause i didnt see that coming 🤣.. he suggested to run some test, get admitted, he settled with the insurance and i got admitted within the same day later that evening. ultra sound result came in.. oh yes it was a gallstone and my gallbladder was inflamed and infected. Cool huh? I think he have an xray device at his spectacles thats how he knows i have gallstone before running the test.. 🤣 (joking) .. After few suggestions and discussions, i got my gallstone and a gallbladder removal surgery. Kudos to dr paul’s and his colleagues.. explaining and sharing infos about the surgery and on how to take care of yourself after the removal. If i have any concerns, i can just message him thru wassap and he will reply me immediately be it daytime or night time. And he also will check on you from time to time even if u have finish all of ur follow ups with him.. If u have any concerns about gastro or need to get a treatment.. care to consider seeing dr paul, you’ll be in good hand. Thank you dr. Went for my Colonoscopy at Dr. Paul Yap's clinic at Gleneagles. Everything went well, easy and smooth. Initial appointment was fast to secure, followed by a good discussion with Dr. Paul Yap on the issue ending in a recommendation for a colonoscopy check-up. On the day of the procedure, check-in to Gleneagles was smooth and hassle free (well planned out with a covid-19 screening beforehand too). The day care room at the B Block in Gleneagles was nice, fresh and comfy. The nurses and attendees super friendly and efficient as always. Dr. Paul Yap's work as expected is of the highest standard and the entire procedure felt stress free. Rested for 3 hours or so afterwards, even received a nice Lunch (didn't expect this) and a nice hot Milo and Pastry for afternoon tea too. Prior to discharging from the hospital, Dr. Paul Yap summarized the entire scope and explained what was done in simple layman's language. It was nice to hear that 'everything went well' and there were no issues. Made my day and likely the Doctor's too - as I am sure they too love to give good news to their patients. All in all - I can highly recommend Dr. Paul Yap and the Gleneagles Hospital for any gastrointestinal problems / concerns. Robert Frager

I am very grateful to have met Dr. Paul Yap. It is very rare to find a doctor who is willing to explain all the symptoms we feel in detail and with kindness. I suffer from ulcerative colitis, and this disease is indeed very complex. Some doctors immediately judged my condition, but Dr. Paul Yap tried to find the best solution for me. He explained everything in detail and kindly. I think it's hard to find a doctor who works with their heart and isn't solely driven by money. Dr. Yap even gave me his WhatsApp number and patiently helped me answer all my questions. He responded quickly and in detail. I even felt like I was talking to a friend. Dr. Yap answered everything and explained it very thoroughly. All my worries over the years have finally been clearly answered. And I feel re-energized to face this disease and undergo treatment. He also only performs procedures that are truly necessary without excessive, unnecessary tests. I underwent colonoscopy very comfortably. I have had colonoscopies many times before, and I always felt tormented during them. However, the colonoscopy with Dr. Paul Yap was done comfortably. The bowel preparation schedule was in the morning, allowing us to sleep soundly the night before. My mood has been very good throughout all these consultations and treatments.
