Professor Koh Mia Tuang is a highly respected paediatrician with deep specialization in paediatric infectious diseases, based at UM Specialist Centre as well as Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. He holds an MBBS from the University of Malaya and has achieved multiple fellowships from prestigious UK institutions: MRCP (UK), FRCP (Edinburgh), and FRCPCH (UK). He is registered under Malaysia’s National Specialist Register (NSR) for both General Paediatrics and Paediatric Infectious Diseases, which confirms his recognized expertise in those fields. Professor Koh has extensive experience managing complex infectious disease challenges in children, including HIV, tuberculosis, vaccine-preventable infections, and primary immunodeficiencies.
